stop and smell the lilacs
Bailey and Sugar came over this afternoon. They wanted to see our graden. The radishes and lettuce are already poking through the ground and the peas will be completely out in a day or two. Jim put the tomatoes in the ground, plus cuke seeds, and melon. He also planted lots of flower seeds. Bailey gave worms to the greedy bluebirds--they fly to the feeder as soon as we get a few feet away. And we also smelled the lilacs that opened up today. A yellow and black butterfly landed on the blooms and extracted nectar.
