The award-winning Bailey Fish Adventure series is for ages 8-12. The first, "The Wild Women of Lake Anna," was described as a "stimulating mystery" by ForeWord magazine. The books feature Bailey Fish, 11, sent by her traveling mother to live with her grandmother, Sugar. Fast-paced, with contemporary problems, American history, environmental issues, discussion questions and Web sites for boys and girls. Bailey's best friends include adopted homeschooled boys and their foster sister, Sparrow.
