School visits

I really enjoyed my visit to West Elementary in Andover, Mass., last week. It was part of the schools 15 annual festival that brings writers, storytellers and authors to the school. Besides the presentations to classes, the authors were invited to have lunch with a small group of students and we had a great discussion about writing.

My next big program is at Rivers Edge Elementary near Richmond. The school is focusing on "The Mysterious Jamestown Suitcase" between now and when I come to the school with my green suitcase.
